Solvers (students of any major and year) who want to learn virtual, augmented, and mixed reality are connected with seekers (researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs) who are seeking solutions to social good problems.

Interested? 

Students - join the GatorVR Facebook group. Sign up for the course.
Researchers and Innovators - fill out the interest form, and we will contact you.

Projects from past courses

Underlying Frameworks

Agile Software Development - iterative improvement, self-forming cross-functional teams
Scrum Framework - teams will follow scrum ceremonies (backlogs, planning, standup, review, and retrospectives)
Lean Principles - teams will learn VR concepts and develop their projects with the primary directive to deliver value efficiently.

GatorVR (Facebook group) is a University of Florida student group (establish 2015) that is affiliated with UF's Association of Computing Machinery student chapter. GatorVR meets every two weeks in the Made@UF lab in the Marston Science Library to discuss the latest in VR developments, teaches courses in VR, and work together on VR projects. Students of all levels (freshmen through graduate students) are welcome, and no prior experience is necessary!
