VR for the Social Good Initiative at the University of Florida
The VR for the Social Good Initiative connects solvers(students) who are want to solve problems with virtual, augmented, and mixed reality with seekers(researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs) who are seeking solutions to social good problems.
Students - If you are interested creating virtual experiences:
If you want to earn course credit for developing virtual reality projects for the social good, look at the available courses and register for the Fall 2018 VR for the Social Good course. The VR for the Social Good course is offered in BOTH computer science (CIS) and journalism. The class is for students of any major and level (freshman to graduate students) and NO experience in virtual reality or programming is required.
